Rebecca’s Bedroom

A 107 hour performance with accompanying documentary.

Durational performance art meets teenage anarchy, Harry Clayton-Wright inhabits Rebecca, a 16 year old uber brat who refuses to leave her bedroom. Expect an immediate descent into chaos and revelry as she hosts the ultimate marathon slumber party.

First staged at Shangri-La, Glastonbury Festival in 2015, the Australian premiere of this iconic and exhausting performance piece took place at Adelaide Fringe, 2018.

Come day or night, interact and watch as both the piece and Rebecca unfold.

“Extraordinary. Clayton-Wright has created a gentle incursion into the way the public sees drag. This Slumber Party, on display to the world for 107 hours, tells you, clearly and confidently: everything you are is enough.” – The Guardian
